Looking to break into the industry? As a Trade Assistant at UFWE, you'll work closely with qualified tradespeople, supporting them in the day-to-day operations of fabrication, welding, and site projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone motivated, reliable, and eager to learn the ropes of welding and mechanical work in a professional environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing materials and tools
• Handle and move steel components safely
• Clean and maintain workshop and equipment
• Support welders and fitters on-site and in the workshop
• Follow safety protocols and team instructions

Requirements:

• Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• White Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Reliable and punctual work ethic

Desirable:

• Previous workshop or site experience
• Forklift ticket or interest in gaining one
